I'm Coleman Andersen, a writer for video games and film. I have a BA in English and Cinema Studies from the University of Washington. I've had a screenplay featured at an Oscar qualifying film festival and was selected as a YoungArts Cinematic Arts Finalist out of over 10,000 applicants.

Every single project I've worked on is wildly different than the last. Maybe it's a film told only from the first-person perspective, a puzzle game using machine learning, or a dating simulator with man-eating wolves. I follow my curiosity and believe it makes me a stronger storyteller. And I'm never bored.

I am currently a Community Manager for the Seattle Indies game development community which has over 7000 members. Working with the community has been an amazing way to get a deep understanding of the game development process.

My two favorite books are Anna Karenina, by Leo Tolstoy, and Art and Physics, by Leonard Shlain.

Anna Karenina because any one of its 30+ characters are more complex than the main character of an average book.

Art and Physics because... what else is there, really?
